TechnoCrunch reached out to get Apple Inc’s statement in connection with the bug. The handset manufacturer ran to its defense claiming that it had taken good care of the issue. The phone provider insisted that it had done the bug-fixing through the recent iOS version 10.2.1 which was launched on 23th January.

Business Insider was successful on its effort to engage Apple. The handset provider said that the iOS 10.2.1 was the perfect solution. According to the handset provider, the unexpected shutdowns had been taken care of accordingly. The handset can restart without forcing you to connect it to power and that follows the recent upgrade.

Some people might have thought of the unexpected shutdowns as some sort of safety issues. The company has confirmed that they are not. The company promises its dedication and commitment to help the few customers that might be experiencing issues and directs all of them to AppleCare where they will be sure to access help.

It advises its product users to upgrade to the most recent version for the best services it can offer. Fixing the bug through a software upgrade shows just how much technological advancement is doing towards helping improve customer experience.
