Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA) is now making the smartest move that is going to boost the new comers to Comcast, and it will definitely boost current customers’ satisfaction as well. Comcast has now inked a deal with Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) over their Video Platform, which is going to be introduced to the next generation X1. This will give the viewers better option on their TV, where they’ll be able to search for anything on YouTube easily, using voice remote or guide.

Customers will be able to watch anything like, fitness, beauty, cooking or their favorite band concert. And that move was the game changer for Comcast, especially after the issues had with Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) over net neutrality, during their partnership. That was followed by a deal inked by Netflix with Sling TV into their X1 platform. Months later Comcast issued their big move, and this integration is expected to roll out later in 2017.

One more development is also taking place and it’s the collaboration between NBCUniversal and Comcast. NBCU is teaming up with BuzzFeed to launch documentary series about real life crime. And it’s about a teen girl that burned alive. And this collaboration is definitely going to be in favor of both companies and knowing that Comcast has the biggest number of TV users in the US.

One of the funny facts on this collaboration is actually that Comcast and NBCUniversal used Minions to build their empire. Those yellow fluffy cute creatures that are now so popular and their photos are everywhere is the result of this team. Since both movies of Dispecable Me have achieved enormous popularity and watching rates among all box offices all around the world. And that helped Comcast promote many other assets. It was said that Comcast made several disputes to the conditions signed between them; however, Comcast stated it was just one.

And on the other hand Comcast has announced that former SEC executive Daniel Murdock will become the new senior vice president, chief accounting officer, and controller. Now that Lawrence Salva is retiring of this position, Murdock is taking his place.
