Kimco Realty Corp. (NYSE:KIM) are delighted to announce its new leaders. Ross Cooper has been promoted to the position of the President while David Jamieson has been given the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Comments from the CEO

Conor Flynn previously played the role of President and Chief Executive Officer. He will retain the position of Chief Executive Officer and continue to serve as a member of the company’s board of directors. Flynn was promoted to CEO in 2016 from the position of Chief Operating Officer. Kimco is a real estate investment trust (REIT). Both Ross and David have previously served Kimco in different capacities. Flynn explained their promotions as well deserved as they have served Kimco sincerely for approximately ten years. He added that both veterans are part of the planned strategies towards achieving vision 2020 and beyond. Their dedication to Kimco and leadership skills are a great asset to Kimco.

Ross Cooper

Ross joined Kimco in the year 2006. His most recent post was Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. He has also acted in other capacities since he joined Kimco. These include; Vice President  of Acquisitions, Dispositions and Asset Management in Kimco’S southern Region. He gets to retain the position of Chief Investment Officer and will continue to be in-charge of the development and implementation of acquisition and disposition at Kimco. Ross holds a Master’s in Real Estate from New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Michigan.

David Jamieson

David joined Kimco an year after his counterpart Ross in year 2007. His previous post in Kimco was Executive Vice President of Asset Management and Operations. This position involved identifying, developing and implementing value creating strategies that optimize the conpany’s portfolio performance. He lead Kimco’s development start-ups and redevelopment strategies. He holds an MBA from Babson College and a degree in Bachelor of Science from Boston College.
