Nokia Corp (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) has scheduled to publish its 3Q2016 and 9-months ended September 30, 2016 interim report on October 27, 2016. The report would be available at 8 a.m. Finnish time, on the stated date and can be viewed on the company’s website. A summary of the reports would be made available in corresponding stock exchange releases, which would only focus on NOK’s financial health and future outlook.

The management has encouraged investors to not only rely on the summaries for up-to-date information, but also view the tables in the full report as well. In addition to this, the company has also decided to hold an analyst conference call, on the same day, at 3 p.m. Finnish time. A webcast of the conference would be made available on Nokia’s official website. It should be noted here that the company has only recently signed an agreement with STC in Saudi Arabia, for expansion of high-speed mobile broadband capacity and coverage in the region.

As per the agreement, Nokia has decided to make use of its 4.5G technology, to enhance STC’s current network, so as to meet the rising demands of consumers in Saudi Arabia. The 4.5G technology from NOK makes use of techniques including carrier aggregation, so as to optimize network resources and provide a boost to internet speeds. The demand for data traffic has grown drastically, since the introduction of 4G in the country. There have been particular spikes in Mecca and Medina, two holy cities visited by a large number of pilgrims from around the world.

STC noted that it had experienced a 600% increase in data traffic, during the pilgrimage season, as compared to the same period in 2015, which had been managed using the country’s first indoor-cell management system. Nokia has stated that it has already completed the first phase of implementation, in Mecca and Medina.

Nokia Corp (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) had a trade volume of 10.18 million and lost 1.6% of its share value, during the October 21 trading session, to close at $4.92 per share.
