Potential for Emoji based domain names

GoDaddy did announce that they were well-aware of the financial significance that this feature could yield for not only the company but also for those that make use of these domain names. This is not the first time that companies will have used emoji-based domain names to be different.

An example of such advertising includes The Coca-Cola Co (NYSE:CO) advertising campaign, which took place in Peurto Rico. This advertisement involved making use of advertising emoji-domain names over large billboards. Shortly after this was implemented, a Norwegian airlines company made use of a similar market strategy involving emoji-domain names.
