It comes at a time when there is a stiff global competition of fitness trackers, which has shaken the dominance of many fitness tracker leaders the likes of Fitbit Inc (NYSE:FIT).
The Huawei Fit many not be new in the market, thus it may not have a huge impact like it would be expected of a new product. However, it is a compelling option given its attractiveness and affordability. It hit the market at the cost of $129.99, and it is available at Best Buy, Amazon, and Newegg.
What would drive anyone to Huawei fitness tracker?
The conviction into buying anything new in the market is through its features and specs. Given its appearance, the fit can easily be associated with Pebble Time Round. It is only a trained eye that can spot the differences. However, it all rounded in terms of features.
Running is one of the core focuses of the Fit. Having partnered with FirstBeat, a fitness analytics company, Huawei says that it is helpful for any runner who wants to design their running plans, which comprise of 5km, 10km, half-marathon, and a marathon mode. They will also get real-time guidance during exercises. The Huawei Wear app gives anyone information about their heart rate. The heart rate monitor is akin is automatic during fiscal years.
The app, which is available in choices of silver and gray, with black, orange, or blue straps, has an automatic sense when one is walking, running, or sleeping. The most notable thing about it is its support for alerts of incoming calls and messages. Besides, the battery lasts for six days.
