Detroit Institute of Arts is set to give a surprise to those visiting the museums. The visitors will get the treat of being able to use one of the museum’s Smartphones to view customized visuals. This will be as a result of Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Google ‘sTango augmented reality technology, which powers the museum’s Lenovo Phab 2 Pro phones. Seemingly, the giant tech is raring to go according to its senior product manager of Tango, Justin Quimby. He says, “This is just the beginning of how you’ll be able to use Tango in museums to see more, hear more and learn more. Stay tuned as we bring Tango to even more museums around the world.”

There is much more to expect from Google’s AR Tango platform

Google’s decision to partner with DIA and a number of museums around the world will not be in vain. DIA is closely taking on the same footsteps as those of Barcelona’s Museum Nacional d’Art de Catalunya. The use of Lenovo Phab 2 Pro will help the visitors step into the world of various artifacts with ease in addition to helping them get some sort of a Pokemon-Go experience.

The device will also provide some fun games to do feature the likes of puzzles and games. Advanced sensors are also a part of the phone.

A lot of visitors are excited about historical displays and this is exactly what the three are destined to offer.  A simple example of history is that a mummy’s sarcophagus, which is part of an Ancient Egypt exhibit.
